ccSOL omics

ccSOL omics

The ccSOL algorithm predicts protein solubility using physico-chemical properties. ccSOL omics accepts multiple submissions and generates solubility profiles to allow the identification of soluble fragments within each polypeptide chain. The solubility profile represents a unique signature that is used to discriminate soluble and insoluble proteins obtained from heterologous expression experiments (accuracy of 78%). The server also computes single-point mutations throughout the whole protein sequence to identify susceptible areas.
